Background Information

In collaboration with the British Council, NAHT and VVOB we now have head teacher professional standards awaiting the approval of REB and MINEDUC top leaders. The standards make clear the professional knowledge and professional practice of head teachers required to be effective leaders of learning and teaching in schools.

Sharing with experts

For the content of head teacher professional standards to be meaningful, acceptable, owned by the intended users and easily implemented in all our schools, expert school leaders who have already implemented similar standards in their education system must share with our school leaders/the intended users on the suitability and implementation of those standards.
